Clothing should compliment the clients’ coloring but not steal the show.  We want to see the person over the style.  Consider clothing and colors that also compliment the eyes.  For a family portrait, we suggest parents dressing in neutrals and give the children a contrast to make them stand out.  While choosing clothing, also think timeless rather than trendy.
